The title comes from a snippet of a post by Wes. It does not matter that I believe this will happen. The polls confirm the Democrat takeover of Congress after the midterm elections. Regardless, here is the schedule for the House and the Senate when they come back after the midterms:

The House is scheduled back the week of November 9 and out after December 17. Counting the days both chambers or the House alone are listed in session:

• November: 9–12, 17–20, and 30 (9 days)
• December: 1–3, 8–11, and 14–17 (11 days)

The Senate returns November 9 and is scheduled through December 18. Its listed session days are:

• November: 9–10, 16–20, and 30 (8 days)
• December: 1–4, 7–11, and 14–18 (14 days)

That matches reporting that the Senate has eight November days and 14 December days on the calendar, counting Fridays. Both chambers are out for Veterans Day (November 11–13 for the Senate; the House is listed in session November 11–12), Thanksgiving week (November 23–27), and from December 21 through the end of the year. It looks like both Johnson and Thune want to hand Congress over to the Democrats so that Trump will be impeached, marginalized and become a lame duck for the rest of his term. They will retreat and blame the loss on Trump and kill the “MAGA” movement. And the people who refused to vote for the lesser of two evils will be blamed for this loss. A double victory for the Communists/Socialists/Islamists/(fill in the blank) as our country further descends into fiscal collapse, war, inflation and civil unrest.

What will Trump and Congress do after the midterm elections through the end of Trump’s administration? Trump is hinting at expanding the war in Iran. It appears that Congress is throwing the election on purpose. Both Congress and Trump should be outlining a strategy and platform for the future so that people will vote for them. Instead, Trump is bribing people with $5000 if they win.

My point is for people to stop rationalizing the elections and consider who is throwing the election. The GOP and their paid sycophants are placing the blame everywhere but where it belongs.

I am only one man but I will make a pledge to vote straight Republican in the midterms if Trump’s DOJ releases the Epstein files. Or if the war in Iran is resolved. Of if AIPAC is made to register under FARA.

As I said above, my personal belief is that the midterm elections will place the Democrat party firmly in power. Jeffries will become Speaker of the House and third in line to become the President. As outlined above Michael Johnson, John Thune and Trump all are assuming a loss and are setting up Americans who want a third option to be the scapegoats.

In our jobs preview post, we told readers to “beware a bond squeeze as august seasonals reverse” and boy were we right: yields are tumbling from 5.22% to 5.16%, a new weekly low, as all those record TSY shorts get bigly squeezed following what was a big miss in the September jobs print which tumbled from a downward revised August (as we said it would be) 133K vs 162K originally to just 29K.

It wasn’t just August that was revised down by 29,000, from +162,000 to +133,000: July was also revised down by 31,000, from +21,000 to  -10,000.  This means that the original negative print of -23K, and which was revised up to 31K last month, is now once again negative and that had the Fed known this, it most likely would not have hiked last month. With  these revisions, employment in July and August combined is 60,000 lower than previously reported. 

More notably, the 29K job print was below all estimates, which is amusing since August was originally above all estimates, but has since been revised sharply lower and just in line.

I grow more and more frustrated by the day.

I just don’t understand anyone still preaching that we have to vote. Telling me that we need to keep using avenues available to us to fight TPTB even though it is futile is maddening. Listen to yourselves for a moment. Why would you continue to participate and give legitimacy to a corrupt system? All you are a doing by voting is making yourself feel good by saying “hey at least I tried.” It keeps you complacent. It keeps you saying “we’ll get them next time.”

I’m tired of being told that I must continue to vote for evil. If voting mattered, do you really think these evil people who stole our Republic from us would allow us to vote? It still amazes me to see written and spoken word to the effects of voting, needing a third party and so forth. I for one have been done voting for lesser of two evils. I have no intentions of voting ever again. The only vote that matters now comes out the barrel of a gun.

I’ve tried working within the system. I’ve tried all your suggestions. You have no idea how corrupt this government is, right down to the local level. Evil is winning, and we are doing nothing but voting at it and hoping for the best.

People for the most part are done.

Come November the Democrats are going to win everything.

Because the one’s that said they’d give it one last shot and vote for Trump have been slammed with the reality that Voting does not matter. That Voting is Useless!

This country is finished. It’s all over but the shooting.

The pain is coming. The pain at the pump! The pain at the grocery store. The pain of keeping a roof over your head. It’s starting to mount up and people are done.

This government will be handed over to the Democrats this election cycle. Even more pain will come then.

It doesn’t really matter how many people you try and convince to go get out and vote! So many have said enough, and are done! They will not participate! They are ready!

People are done trying to delay the inevitable by continuing to vote.
