How Does the West Survive?

It’s not just Italy. This could be any Western country in a short period of time. Trump’s solution is following Israel which may lead to a nuclear war.

People need to understand the consequences of bad leaders and who is in control. God will not be merciful on immoral people.

  1. “People need to understand the consequences of bad leaders and who is in control. God will not be merciful on immoral people.”

Yet God is faithful to those who obey Him.

Lamentations was written shortly after Jerusalem’s destruction in 586 BCE to mourn the city’s fall, explain that the suffering resulted from the people’s sins, and provide a liturgical text for repentance, prayer, and hope in God’s mercy.
    Purpose of Lamentations
To mourn Jerusalem’s destruction (586 BCE): All major sources agree the book is a poetic response to the Babylonian conquest, expressing grief over the ruined city and temple.

To interpret the catastrophe theologically: The book emphasizes that Jerusalem fell because of the people’s sins, rejection of God’s word, and corrupt leadership.

To call for repentance: The laments function as confessions of sin and pleas for God’s forgiveness.

To provide hope in God’s mercy: Despite its sorrow, Lamentations affirms God’s steadfast love and faithfulness (notably 3:22–24).

Lamentations 3…21Yet I call this to mind, and therefore I have hope: 22Because of the loving devotion of the LORD we are not consumed, for His mercies never fail. 23They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!…

God treats all of us individually. We WILL Perish of something but how you serve God is to be judged at His throne.

Have a good relationship with God.

  2. God is merciful, however, He did destroy the nation of 12 tribes forever. There may be a remnant, but the United 12 tribes are gone. Prepare to endure.

    1. Did He? Please point where in the Bible or history where this rather important destruction occur.

      1. Play devil’s advocate. The answer is based on a single question.

        1. Happy you joined in David.

          Your turn friend:

When did God destroy the 12 tribes.

Give historical and or bible examples.

          I enjoy learning new things.

          1. I think you enjoy aggravating people. Answer the question.

        2. David “I think you enjoy aggravating people. Answer the question.”

Is it aggravating to ask questions of a rather bold statement that the 12 tribes are gone?

And what is David’s question so I can answer.

Some research shows indeed the 10 Northern Tribes of Israel were captured and dispersed by

SNIP The biblical account of the “disappearance” of the 12 tribes is found in the books of 2 Kings and 1 Chronicles, which describe the Assyrian conquest and exile of the northern kingdom of Israel around 722 BCE

This event marks the end of the northern kingdom of Israel (the 10 tribes: Reuben, Simeon, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Manasseh, and Ephraim) as a distinct nation. The southern kingdom of Judah (Judah and Benjamin) survived until the Babylonian exile in 587 BCE

The Southern Kingdom of Judah the tribes of Judah, Benjamin plus elements of the tribe of Levi were taken by the Babylonians AND they were NOT dispersed but retained their groupings until returned 70 years later to rebuild Jerusalem.

This formed the linage of modern Jews.

Although the 10 northern tribes were dispersed by the Assyrians

SNIP Biblical texts, such as Ezekiel and Jeremiah, envision a future restoration of all twelve tribes, suggesting that the northern tribes could be reunited with Judah and Benjamin.

Isaiah 11:12 – “And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.”
Jeremiah 3:18 – “In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.”
Jeremiah 31:31 – “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:”
Jeremiah 33:7 – “And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.”
Jeremiah 50:4 – “In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.”
Ezekiel 37:15-28 – the two sticks brought together; Verse 19 – “Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.”

Isaiah 55:11 (KJV): “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”

Man can conquer, man can disperse, but God’s words and promises remain.

So are the 12 tribes gone?

          1. So you can do research.

The question is how many people can trace their lineage to one of the 13 specific tribes?

          2. Was that your question David?

I don’t know. Not Jewish but I understand from a few I’ve spoken too many have researched their genealogy (much like LDS folks) to a specific tribe.

            Is it accurate? Don’t know.

But the 12 tribes are not quite gone. God can be stubborn about that sort of thing from reading His word.

      2. “Did He? Please point where in the Bible or history where this rather important destruction occur.”

Be careful, somebody may just come around and ask you to point out where those 12 tribes are today, and convincingly, without a resoneable doubt. Coughhhint.

  3. Bad earthly rulers come and go. Our only ruler should be Jesus. If our country would remember that and follow him we would be more discerning about who we allow into public office. And the Synagogue of Satan would have no power here.
