I very much doubt Trump has suddenly gained clarity on the consequences (and blowback) for his chosen course of action. The surest way to determine this is if his actions visibly change from today forward.
‘More radicalized and more concentrated’ –Ya’ think? Duh! Cost versus cost, Iran has won this war. Iran’s total war damage and military costs are about 20 billion dollars or so. Our costs, over 200 billion total, not including the damage to Israel (about 30 billion in both dust ups). I saw a Saudi Patriot battery unload its entire batch of missiles on some incoming Shaheed drones. The Saudi’s set the thing on automatic and fled. Total cost probably over 100 to shoot down perhaps $30,000 dollars worth of drones. Do this over and over again and you get the picture. So who wins these engagements? Even if the drones did not hit their mark–Iran win by sheer economic costs it inflicts on the USA and Israel. By getting suckered into this war by Israel, Trump fell, hook, line and sinker into Iran’s well developed war plans it seems. And still they are at over 75% of their missile capacity–and growing.
