   The government has been lying about the true state of the economy for decades. Shadowstats has been more accurate as they used the 1980 methodology for inflation, using the same basket of commodities, that were used since the 60’s. After that the stats were fiddled with constantly. In the early 2000’s .gov was showing 2-3% inflation while Shadowstats showed as high as 25%. Any thinking person now sees things the way Solzhenitsyn did. “They are lying. We know they are lying. They know that we know they are lying. We know that they know that we know they are lying. And yet they are still lying.”
