I thought North Carolina was a deep red, conservative state–where people were hunkering down making fun of the mental illness that was prevalent on the west coast. Looks like the tolerance of mental illness has come home to roost in NC, right? From what I saw in the video, it’s worse in NC than on the coast in many respects. At least here, the mentally ill stay in their tents, under bridges and in the bushes for the most part–to come out only for water and blocks of government cheese.
North Carolina is 18% of the distance across the continental United States so it is a large state. East of I-95 is mainly poor with no real state representation. North Carolina mainly is from I-95 to I-85 with I-40 as the top. West of Asheville is Western North Carolina (WNC) and the state barely recognizes that area. Even when Hurricane Helene hit it. So basically, the portion of the state from Raleigh to Chapel Hill and Durham is called the Triangle and it controls anything of importance; especially funding, research and education. Charlotte has devolved into Democrat controlled murder center and Asheville is San Francisco. In order words, North Carolina is another Democrat Socialist disaster.
