Sounds Like a Bad B Movie

Maybe Netflix will make the movie. Stormy Daniel’s can play Heidi.

  1. Was the neonazi a jew that would be icing on the cake…

    1. That would be good for a solid chuckle. But I have to ask, is it not already absurd enough, even without that specific plot twist? I’ve become somewhat inured to it all by now, but if I step back and look over the state of things with a certain amount of detachment, we really are deeply into the truly outrageous and implausible levels of clown world now.

The picture now circulating of Trump playing golf next to a humvee mounted anti aircraft/missile battery has just elevated it to yet another new level. It’s getting difficult to envision what the next fake and ghey escalation proffered to the masses will be.

  2. Oh it’s definitely absurd Brother and has been for quite some time…I really wish our side wanted something different but it looks like pain, suffering, and lots of death have to happen before that becomes reality if it even happens then…

    1. I concur. And not that it makes any of what’s coming better, but history pretty clearly shows that humanity almost always chooses the hard way when a major crisis threatens it’s existence. Thus, much death, destruction, and suffering will most assuredly take place. Collectively, humans appear to lack the ability to avoid these boom-bust cycles, even at smaller scales like the various economic crises of the last few decades, all of which were enabled by criminality and stupidity (that went mostly unpunished, which is why we are about to do it again). Therefore, it is folly to expect to head off a huge, all encompassing crisis of civilization, which we are now facing.

A few of us can see what’s coming, and postulate on how it could be “softened” (for it is in no way entirely avoidable) and keep trying to drive home the message that it shouldn’t have to be that way, but complacency and the momentum of the status quo practically guarantee nothing substantive gets done until the wheels have actually fallen off society. That’s a bitter truth to face, but is the crux of much of what gets discussed here, and in other similar venues. The blackest pill is having to accept that we are tilting at windmills in trying to prevent that worst possible outcome.

  3. Meh. Get back to me when she’s locked up. The current crop of GOP quislings is great at investigating and indicting. But they are useless at actually trying and punishing. Nothing will come from this.
