   FDR Confiscated the Gold, LBJ Discarded the Silver.
   Ronald Reagan allowed You to Possess Gold once again, At least an Individual’s chance to retain some of their wealth. Silver remained available since 1964 to those who knew Not to Trust the Feral Gov.

   Empires Always Follow the Same Path to Oblivion, as it’s Former Citizens become Oblivious & Irreconcilably Divided, while Invaded by Barbarians.

      General, Sir: Yours is the money comment for Thursday, 07/16/2026. This scam has been tried before with the Susan B. Anthony dollar and the Sacagawea dollar.    When you realize that the US Dollar is worth about 1% of it’s value in 1900 you come to the understanding that it can’t be debased much anymore….but the criminals in power will try.

   It’s hardly surprising given the size of Cheeto Jesus’ ego… but yeah, far as I can recall, they’ve never minted coinage with a living President’s face on it. It’s the sorta thing they honor you with after you die, if you deserved it (and I’ll just leave that hanging there…) It’s quite the break from tradition, even for him.
