So she has full voting power? Does she get the equivalent of his wages for the time remaining? Can she run for election to fill his seat? Will she start accumulating a retirement income that begins to pay out once she retires? Why not leave his seat unfilled until another candidate can run for the office in November?
Of course she’ll get the retirement benefits. She’ll now get his kickbacks from Ukraine and Israel and probably some from Raytheon and others.

SC will hold a set of special elections to run for the permanent seat. Its a bit of tradition to do this for five months. This gives the real players a week or two to run for the open seat. Sister ain’t running for reelection.
FWIW I can’t stand Lindsey Boi’s policies or him personally. I damn sure don’t wish him harm or ill will. Just wanted him primaried.
The seat isn’t useless. If you are planning on stealing the wealth of America and giving it to Ukraine, Israel, and the MIC, you absolutely need these scumbags.
Not voted in by we the people inserted by the President. In my 66 years I don’t remember any other Presidents hand picking the senator. Is this constitutional.

We won’t be able to tell the difference from Lindsay, probably already has her seat on a plane to Israel and a visit to Zelensky. And she will fit right in as an unelected place holder with Zelensky and Netenyahoo, who neither have held elections in years

As far as I know, she had no part in her brother’s many crimes, won’t hold those against her. But if the seat had to be filled, picking a random name off the voter rolls would have been a better option than this..

Just remember this if you ever run for public office and your opponent says “You aren’t qualified!” – if she’s good enough to be a U.S. senator with no prior public office experience then you are good enough for ANY lesser office.
