EVERYONE who states that we are a Democracy is working to destroy our country or is a useful idiot. Working implies they are being compensated to destroy the country: power, money or both.
It is insidious see how this shift has been implemented over time. Keep this important distinction clearly in your mind because it is the key. If you don’t believe our founding fathers’ reasoning, just ask how else our Republic fell to tyranny.
A Constitutional Republic means nothing either if the elected DO NOT obey the power limits imposed by the Constitution. That system began falling apart with Washington’s response to the Whiskey Rebellion and Adams’ Alien and Sedition Act…and everything since.
Democracy is three wolves and one lamb deciding what to have for lunch.
Simple.
The rule of the mob.
