  1. Nah. Ask anyone under 50 to thread and use a manual Singer Sewing Machine.

  2. I think Iam going back to a rotary phone to use instead my home instead of the garbage we use now with our land line. I still own a rotary phone all I need is the new connector on it to plug in to my land line connector.

    1. There are even ways to adapt a rotary phone for use on VOIP lines. Maybe difficult to justify the cost for such a use case, but it can be done.

  3. Now have them write instructions in cursive.

    1. They can’t do it this generation was never taught script handwritten because the stupid Low iq teachers don’t know it as well. My son was taught this when he was homeschooled back in 1996

  4. It’s not just “kids”. I had AT&T come out to deliver a new modem and while the tech was there, a sales rep & trainee showed up. They were amazed at the rotary wall phone in the kitchen, and the trainee was astounded when I showed her how to make a call with it and that it didn’t go dead when the power went out.

I still remember my dad calling his folks by having to first dial the operator and asking her to connect him to PR(imrose)5-1325.

Want another laugh? Look up “party line”.
