Iran decided to fire bullets yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz — A Total Violation of our Ceasefire Agreement! Many of them were aimed at a French Ship, and a Freighter from the United Kingdom. That wasn’t nice, was it? My Representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan — They will be there tomorrow evening, for Negotiations. Iran recently announced that they were closing the Strait, which is strange, because our BLOCKADE has already closed it. It makes sense that they would. The American blockade threat is really an embargo and is reliant upon boarding, search, and seizure well outside of the SoH itself. If Iran allows China and others to purchase oil and transit through the strait, the logical place for the US to interdict is in the Arabian Sea. The Chinese could initiate their own convoy system by marshalling their tankers in the Gulf of Oman and providing PLAN warships to escort them to China. Trump and the USN won’t do anything.
It looks likely that active fighting will resume in short order though, and if that happens the energy production infrastructure on both sides of the Gulf will probably be destroyed. Once that happens it will be impossible to keep sweet talking the markets up, and the political/economic blowback on Trump and the US will be the true Epic Fury
I say bring it hopefully it brings this corrupt and rotting empire to come crashing down…
