Time Is Not on Trump’s Side

Let’s stop pretending that Iran is a poor Arab country with poorly educated people. Their current President is a heart surgeon. They rank 4th in the world for IQ based on the 2026 Average IQ by Country rankings from the International IQ Test; much higher than the United States which was 39th.

What is their plan for this war? Time. The above picture shows the cliffs on the Iranian Persian Gulf near the Strait of Hormuz. They are embedded with military installations to hold off any invasion. Their western and eastern borders are large mountain ranges. In other words, an invasion would be suicide. Just ask Iraq.

With Iran’s missiles and drones, any naval attack is suicide. See Millennial Challenge 2002 for a practical example. There is no way to isolate Iran from Russia, China and North Korea if the war escalates. Yes their currency has been successfully attacked by the US to start a color revolution in January. And their infrastructure has been bombed by Israel and the US which has impacted travel and transportation of war materiel.

So the course forward will still be dictated by Netanyahu. His only option is to convince the US to launch a limited tactical nuclear strike. He has already stated that they will not participate in a land attack with Israeli soldiers. He also has sabotaged every ceasefire or deadline to ensure the continuation of this war to establish a Greater Israel. So the wildcard is Trump. Congress is mostly quiet to limit their exposure as the “war” descends into chaos and the President descends into madness. Ask yourself if you want Trump to be able to decide a nuclear attack with no oversight based on his rhetoric and actions.

If I was Iran, I would bide my time. The longer the Strait is closed, the more the impact is felt on multiple trade fronts: oil, plastics, fertilizer, helium and medical components for a short list. We already see the impact in Ireland and this will spread throughout Europe in the coming week. The pressure has built and the release valve foreshadows the worst possible outcome.

Trump had an out with the ceasefire. As usual, Israel broke the ceasefire by carpet bombing Lebanon. Worse yet, Trump and Vance tried to cover it up as a misunderstanding on Iran’s side. How much longer will Trump (if it is Trump) be a puppet in a game with such high stakes?

It is probable that this interim ceasefire is a facade for an invasion of Iran. What would I do if I was Iran in this scenario? Once the bombing started, I would sink every oil tanker in the Persian Gulf. Imagine the environmental impact, the lack of drinking water and the loss of oil transport in the future. That is assuming that Iran does not destroy the desalination plants, refineries and loading docks.

Such an attack would have little impact on what would be left of Iran. Negative public opinion of Israel and the US would be immense as Russia and China rise to the top of the new multipolar order. Of course that assumes that there is no retaliation of a nuclear attack by the rest of the world.

Let’s play a game where Iran is bombed without tactical nuclear bombs. How much war materiel does the US have left? IF we have enough to carpet bomb Iran, where would we be if Russian or China attacked? The US government has been very attentive to destroying our culture and economic system. Just look at the response to Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. As Trump said:

“It’s not possible for us to take care of day care, Medicaid, Medicare, all these individual things.”

Let’s bottom line this: the US is broke, controlled by Israel and cannot defeat Iran with conventional military tactics. The longer this goes on, the more Iran wins. Israel will not allow that to happen.

  1. They rank 4th in the world for IQ based on the 2026 Average IQ by Country rankings from the International IQ Test;

A random sampling on a proctored test?

  2. What is happening in Ireland is just the beginning. They are running out of fuel. Within the next two to three weeks many nations around the world will begin to feel the pinch as well. There will be unrest in many countries.

The less oil there is in the global market, the more fuel will cost for everyone. Even the price of fuel produced in the U.S. will shoot upward because other countries will be bidding for it, because it is a global market.

The more fuel cost, the more everything will cost. When fuel runs out, everything runs out. If it happens there, it will happen here.

    Oh! The joy of globalism!

  3. Fantastic article. I am sharing it. The wake up call from Paul Revere. We ARE ALMOST out of time. Death is at our doorstep!

  4. … Trump (if it is Trump) …

So, the conspiracy theory. Vox Day insists that the Trump we are seeing is the ‘short Trump.’ He is visibly shorter than he was when sworn in. If the Trump we are seeing is, indeed, an impostor, where is the real Trump, the one who said no more new wars in the Middle East? Perhaps he’s taking a dirt nap with Charlie Kirk, and for the same reasons? That would explain a lot.

If somehow, by hook and by crook, Israel manages to convince Trump to use nuclear weapons on Iran (even if they are limited strikes) –then this will be the end of the USA as you know it. Period. The war against Iran will in fact escalate rapidly outwards, engulfing most of the middle east and then outwards from there. Russia, China, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt and other states will join in with Iran. There will be tactical atomic strikes and counter strikes. Israel will be mostly vaporized in this conflict. And the atomic weapons will in fact reach targets here in the USA–changing life as you know it into a dystopian nightmare. Assuredly there will be EMP strikes affecting North America turning life here into total misery. The people who will be the most disappointed, will be the Christian-Zionist types, who are the end of the conflict will NOT get their monkey-spanking, wet-dream of a supernatural ending.

  6. Bomb Israel into the dirt, call it a “victory” or an “oopsie”.

  7. The mountains in the vicinity shield missile cities that menace vessels, especially oil tankers, in Straits of Hormuz .. which means Iran can close off Hormuz at any time and no power on Earth can force them open

Think about it. The cargo in an oil tanker is flammable .. which means a run of the mill drone can set it off. And Iran would have hundreds if not thousands of these. And how hard would it be to hit an oil tanker

    1. Millennium Challenge 2002: You know that was 24 years ago? So you are saying that the U.S. learned nothing and changed nothing over that time period? You probably believe that the current Patriot system is the same system used in the 1991 Gulf War.
    2. Israel convince the U.S. to use tactical nukes: Why would they need to do that? They can do it themselves. Don’t the Israelis already have nukes? So all this caterwauling about Israeli having nukes has been baseless fear mongering? Besides, the U.S. has not had any tactical nukes since signing the INF treaty in the 90’s
    3. Iran blocking the strait will have impacts on fertilizer, plastics etc: Sure, and the world will find alternatives. I was told that Ukraine was the world’s greatest producer of fertilizer in the world and that Russia would bring the world to its knees blockading the Black Sea. Maybe the U.S. will step up oil production since it now also controls Venezuelas oil. Europe restarts North Sea drilling, Gulf States construct pipelines to move oil etc.
    4. Sinking tankers and destroying infrastructure in won’t affect what remains of Iran: You do remember the Iranians considering evacuating Tehran because of drought conditions earlier this year? How long will Iran last with less potable water. You think that environmental catastrophe won’t affect Iran? Let me get this straight, the Arabs and Persians will commit economic murder/suicide, removing the region from global influence/impact. You mean the price of oil will not be constantly subject to the whims of the “Death to America” crowd?

    1. It would be easier to just delete this comment instead of replying. I will respond to item number 1 and let other people consider responding to your other points.

I am saying that the U.S. learned more arrogance over that time period. The response in 2002 was to ignore the defeat, rewrite the rules and repeat the exercise. Iran learned valuable information and built more speed boats for the future.

      For validation of my point:

      a. US aircraft carriers were moved from the current theater of war because they could not be protected.
      b. Trump just authorized the new Trump class battleships to be built. He might as well have commissioned bows and arrows to fight drones.
