   Given that 90% of government-“educated” kids couldn’t find Iran on a map if their life depended on it (nor Israel), images and comparisons like this are critical and really put things in perspective. When the news shows the Middle East, it is difficult to gain a perspective on just how large these countries are (even if not heavily populated).

   There was a visual comparison somewhere a week or so ago that showed the amount of land that would need to be “controlled” to ensure the Straight of Hormuz remained open. It was an area LARGER THAN Vietnam!!!! There is also a great animated video out (maybe posted here, can’t remember), that showed the geographical/topographical features of the country that have made it SO IMPENETRABLE for CENTURIES. Mountains, deserts, more mountains, open plains.

   The stuff/threats that Israel faced Trump with must have been unbelievably horrible (for him that is). This WAR is just going to be unbelievably horrible for everyone else.

   Seems like Trump is going to pull the trigger and put Marines on the beaches–somewhere in Iran this weekend. Two words come to mind and they are, “Gallipoli” and “Dieppe.” If so–the Iranians are going to go all out to inflict as much damage and casualties upon these forces as humanly possible–win or loose. Irrelevant to them possibly if Iran suffers a loss–as this would destroy political harmony and cohesion here in the USA (highly desired by them). Iran is going to go all out to target these Marine landing ships (the Tripoli and Boxer) should they attempt to enter through the Straight of Hormuz. Images of ‘Kamikaze’ in WWII come to mind–but this time with swarms of literally hundreds of drones and high-speed drone-boats… though a literal shooting gallery. Let’s not forget the recently delivered Chinese and Russian anti-shipping missiles–along with Iran’s homegrown weaponry. And once these Marines land (if they managed to do so in the first place) I can envision them being pummeled by drones, precision hypersonic missiles and missiles spewing hundreds of cluster munitions. The siege of Khe Sahn in Vietnam comes to mind with this. Frankly I believe that the Iranians have been meticulously preparing for such a scenario for years ahead of this war and they are laying in wait to lay some very heavy hurt on our forces. And if somehow, Iran did possess a few nuclear weapons–I believe this would be the perfect time for them to justifiably used them in the eyes of this world. This is not 1990 and Iraq anymore. It’s not even 2001 or 2003 and the sandbox wars anymore. The only up-side of a military disaster suffered would be that it also destroys and permanently discredits the Christian-Zionists and Neo-Con’s here in this land… and hopefully it will knock three or four legs out of the legs of influence table of Israel.
