  1. Sure enough. Gas here is about to touch $4/gal again (in a relatively low cost state, comparatively speaking), diesel is more than a dollar per gallon higher, and I expect to see that spread increase into the end of the year.

  2. yeah. I have been telling my neighbor to fill his oil tanks for a while now.
but his dealer says wait and the price will come down. sure. not any time soon enough for winter. a lot of people heat with oil around here.
I used 2 wood stoves instead of the damn oil burner. it much more quiet for one. doesn’t smell like oil for another and it just better all around. more work though. gasoline went from under 3.50 to over 4.15 now. diesel is just under 6 bucks. Kerosene is over 7 last time I checked.
need to top off my gas cans with non corn gas again. last time it was 5 something a gallon. wonder how high it is now. I used it for my small engine items, snow blower, generator and other things.
corn gas just fucks those engines up in time and it not worth pouring it in the tank. BTW, most of my neighbors thought I was nuts to install 2 wood stoves instead of pellet stoves. but when the power went out for a week in winter 2 years ago, they thought otherwise.
come winter, heating oil and diesel will be sky high in price here.
they all the same fuel stock, diesel, jet fuel and heating oil.
