Socialism means that every decision or action is in the collective interests of the Folk (and therefore nation) as a whole.
We are a racial group of people and we must make decisions that benefit and advance our Folk as a whole. This ethos flows all the way down culturally, legally, and politically, emanating from government.
Each individual has the responsibility to make pro-social choices and
actions that uplift our race as they go about their daily lives.
Businesses and industry must act in the interests of the race in their
operations, i.e. not poisoning our people, no unethical industries that
harm or damage our Folk. Government must always assess and enact policy through a binary lens: Is something good for the Folk, or bad for it? Does this advance us as a collective people, or set us back?
This has nothing to do with the Marxist Socialist practices of
seizing private property from individuals, nor a worker’s uprising against industry and landowners, nor a fantasy egalitarian society where “everyone is equal”.
Our system respects the individual, knowing that racial genius and
creativity emerges as an individual – rising out of the collective pool of our blood. The free market is respected and allowed to prosper, so long as the industries are positive to the Folk (and therefore the nation) Everything should be set around uplifting our people.
Roth Note: Now tell me what’s wrong with this. Understand, this is not Socialism as we’ve known it.

Perhaps not, but socialism it is, and ultimately a gun will be pointed at your head for non-compliance with the ‘collective will’.
That is exactly where we are now … the market is ‘respected’, until it is NOT … by statist who claim to know better how we should live.

Agreed. All this series of noble thought exercises points out is free will is subject to the “Greater Good” of the Folk.
And just like Socialism (which has noble thoughts) REQUIRES Morally Perfect People IN CHARGE to make the lesser serfs to do what’s RIGHT for the Folk (or in Socialism THE PARTY).

I was not relying on Grok to give me insight. I just wanted to have an analysis of the post from an “unbiased” point of view.

1. We are here to grow spiritually. That means helping the widows and orphans.
2. Natural laws supersede man’s laws. The right to defend ourselves is inviolate, even under a tyrannical government. I don’t consider our government to be Capitalistic and maybe that should be part of this discussion.
3. The right to private property is inviolate.
4. While most readers will agree, we may not completely be in total agreement. For example: if your house is paid off, do you own it if the government can seize if for eminent domain or unpaid property taxes?
5. Socialism or Communism = Suicide or Murder.

The above gets my full agreement. We can speak of (and wish for) inviolate rights granted by our Creator until the end of time. The reality is that any government – in any form – can and will violate those rights in some fashion. Since anarchy is not a workable system either, and humans are imperfect at the individual level (and even more so once they form a collective, in which “might makes right”) there is no real solution to the problem if tyranny. It will always rear it’s ugly head at some point, no matter how noble the stated intentions of a government body are at the outset.
I don’t claim to have any great insight on how to avoid the situation we now find ourselves in, but I would say that in practice, once a new, very limited government is formed, the biggest challenge (and the biggest typical failing) is in trying to ensure those with the franchise remain vigilant against mission creep and the “softening” of things like harsh punishment of criminals.
Failing that, mistakes like universal franchise, and the watering down of criminal penalties (and capital punishment specifically) eventually take hold again. Again though, that is a wish, and reality has repeatedly shown that given enough time, the standards and expectations that existed at the inception of a nation and it’s government are always diluted, and that leads to collapse within a period of a few of centuries. We are here, now.
I’d like to think the next iteration (whatever it may be) would avoid that outcome, but my faith in human endeavor to do better is non-existent. Great philosophical discussions can take place, but nothing is ever learned, at least not with enough permanence to avoid a disintegration of nations and governments in the course of time.

Not a fan of socialism under the current definition, to easily exploited by the grievances and victimhood crowd. I am willing however to entertain a dialogue on cooperative economics and parecon as proposed by Albert and Hahnel. That said I think capitalism is salvageable provide there are reasonable guardrails and a cohesive society, the latter being the largest hurdle.
Tribalism based on race and the folk as our ancestors lived was relatively socialist by nature, and that is why it worked for them on a smaller scale. The modern incarnation of socialism, the term of which dates back to the early-19th century, does not work for many reasons, but the core reason, outside of the problem with scale, is that it is not a race-based system of organization.
Another reason it worked then but not now is that it was grown from the bottom-up, by and for the folk. Modern systems are imposed top-down across the breadth of society. The former requires buy-in from individuals so that when the folk succeed, individuals and families succeed; conversely, the latter pushes everyone down to the same level so that the ‘elite few’ succeed.
Not to be rude but from what historical documents do you make this so solid statement?
I looked at some of the poems Roth brought up and got a chuckle they were transcribed by Christian Monks. AND the true historical document Germania by the Roman historian Tactus it was found that Tactus never went to Germania but wrote from travelers (probably soldiers) who went there and returned. Secondhand information at best and some of us know how soldiers can tell tales when beer is about.

I’d also suggest you avoid the dirt farming my relatives in Appalachia are doing. Folks without welfare and EBT Cards like so many in live on in Appalachia STARVE when dirt farming fails from a cold wet spring. LEARN the best Farming you can. The Amish seem to be pretty darn good at it.
My MAG is a loose group that helps each other. When it’s hay time a phone chain and folks show up. That farmer knows when he’s called by the phone chain to show up or next time, he might not get so much help. We have a shared culture of helping each other. But were ethnically mixed as most of us are retired military.
Weak people complain that others stop them, strong peoples (folks?) just agree on their folk CULTURE rules and get going.
