Yessir, came to that realization 10 years ago. I kept reading other people saying things that sounded extreme at the time..And years later, they’re happening before my eyes. If you’re not out yet, it might not be too late, but you haven’t much time.

More and more, I beleive they are caught short by these sorts of revelations, because they are abject morons, and any sufficiently complex technology is indistinguishable from magic to these idiots.
They just somehow expect these things to keep on working for them, because they always have, and they have no understanding of long term consequences for their short sighted self dealing. These are the same people who believe in socialism, racial equality, and other stupid crap that is obviously divorced from reality. So, why should they foresee any of the deleterious effects of decimating the industrial base of their own countries?
