How Could This Have Happened?

I updated this post based on the comments here on AR.

UPDATE:

The post lists Islam as the fastest-growing religion in 26 US states (mostly South and Midwest), Buddhism in Western states, Hinduism in 3 states, and Judaism in 15 Northeastern states, citing GeoMapped data.

This aligns with Pew Research trends showing Islam’s national growth of about 52% from 2010-2020 via immigration and births, amid overall US religious diversification beyond Christianity.

Accompanying image shows an interfaith prayer room sign with Christian cross, Islamic crescent, and Eastern swastika symbol, sparking replies expressing alarm over Christianity’s relative decline and cultural shifts.

Grok

I am ashamed of the government. I know that the Christian churches have failed to maintain a moral people. But this revelation concerning the collapse of Christianity is heart wrenching.

How are they measuring that? If you have one Muslim and they convert one other that is 100% growth. Christianity won’t have “fast growth” simply because it is so big.

    1. Good point regarding statistics. But this is the snowball down a hill effect in action: it starts small, yet gains size, mass and velocity coming down the slope until it is a deadly, massive projectile that obliterates anything in it’s path. Point being that while these stats can be (and frequently are) misrepresented for dramatic effect and propaganda, they should still be taken seriously, as there is a real nascent threat being revealed therein.

Meanwhile, essentially all sects of organized Christianity have utterly failed in their mission to inculcate society with good morals and character, because they sold out to the same fake and ghey enlightenment thinking that has now systematically destroyed all Western countries. Most are so badly cucked (the Episcopalians, Presbyterians and Methodists especially, by my observations, and the Roman Catholic Church is no longer far behind in the same sort of downfall, due to the embrace of fake ass virtue snivelling idiocy) that I’m not sure any of them can be salvaged now.

The vanishingly small contingent of hard core traditionalists who truly believe and live their lives in line with scripture are so few that they cannot take over these dying institutions and reform them. They will have to splinter off and start anew, leaving the old and terminally diseased institutional churches to die of entropy and irrelevance. They are among the remnant that will probably survive to re-establish a functional society, assuming we don’t go full nuclear, and ruin even the long odds of that happening.

    2. I would argue that most of the Jooo increases in each state are a result of new arrivals from other places. New York State refugees of that persuasion like to decamp for New England for example since they already ruined their home state with the expected voting habits. I do not believe that particular religion stat is due to any meaningful conversion of static citizens in any of the states where it dominates. The other inflow for that demographic is probably members of the chosen race who do not like getting rocketed or drafted in the Land of Milk and Honey, so they head for the USA with the old chameleon citizenship card they carry.
In the case of the budhism in hippie dippie places like Washington state, that is a trendy thing to do for lefties in Cascadia, not to worry, they don’t have a future and they don’t affect me.

The moslem numbers are always disturbing, since those people are the homicidal maniacs of the religious world. Organic converts in that class are bad, but possibly redeemable. Imports are the real concern.

  2. AS far as Idaho is concerned, that post is Bravo Sierra. I have not so much as seen one, even in Boise.

  3. I don’t put any weight on some X post claiming percentages on anything much less religion.
Just like politicians and seemingly most of society they pull false numbers from there dark nether regions and spew it like it’s scripture. Save your bandwidth for real life.

  4. If the religion in question CANNOT answer the big questions you have about reality and the divine….you look elsewhere. Authoritarian approaches will NOT bring in new followers, and even being raised in a religion will not hold you if your search is profound and the answers are not there. And “faith” is not an answer.

  5. In case you are not aware of what your congress and president have been doing with your money, here it is, they are sending billions to Zelensky who closed the orthodox churches and Netenyahoo who kills Christy everyday. Open your eyes

  6. Pastors stopped preaching and teaching the Bible as it is. And congregations stopped holding them accountable.

  7. Christianity is alive and well. Organized religion gave up the ghost to money, political correctness and pusillanimous behavior. If you’re reading the bible, praying, believing in God, living a decent life and knowing the difference between good and evil; that’s all one can ask. IMO. I do not pretend to know God’s intention for me. I will be judged, as will we all. I want to accept it honorably, whatever the decision. His will be done.
