When I worked in a public school, there was general talk about allowing time for religious praying. It was promoted because Christian students wanted to start their day asking for God’s blessing. I was against it and said that the students had plenty of time at home to worship before beginning their school day. I knew that if any religious praying was allowed for Christians, then Muslims and Satanists would demand equal time. Now this city in Michigan is headed down the same path. You allow any kind of sacrifices under religious purposes and you must accept all the other varied religious demands along with it; for example FGM as well child marriages even though those practices are against US law. And when Haitians move in next door and your kitty disappears because once a year their voodoo religion requires them to eat felines, you will just have to shut up. Satan can’t come into your life or your home or your country unless you open the door and invite him in.
