Good Information

Although this is good information, most people will not watch. For those that do watch, most people will not act. For those who do act, most people will understand that the trap is already closing.

  1. David, this was an excellent video with extremely important information! You are right, it will come under the TL;DW category.

The sad part is that too many homeowners really wouldn’t understand some of the terms described in the video. They have done the simplest mortgage and HELOC for years and they live their lives. Perhaps there is a 401K in there for some and savings for others. I read awhile ago that 60% of folks don’t even have $500 savings for an emergency repair or medical bill. Tough times coming for those folks.

I believe we are experiencing a slow roll into a depression; in some areas of the country, it will be more difficult than others. And everyone who thought a new President would get us out of a tough economy, well, a lot can be said.

  2. Lead, silver, and gold. Same as its ever been.

    1. Trusted friends, trusted family, skills in things folks need like welding, EMS and tools. Gardening skills.

A deep pantry of shelf stable foods you already eat. No point in adding to your suffering with a sudden diet of wheat berries and beans (as nutritious as they can be with proper preps) stress gives folks enough bowel issues before adding strange foods.

Lead is useful, gold and silver are nice after you have spent money on stuff that will repair your home, heat it and feed your kids (and similar as it would be an article to list more properly).

The “Money Value” of gold and silver in an economic collapse scenario depends on Rule of Law allowing you to trade them at an established “Fair Price”.

How much is my chicken? The seller sets that value. Unless you’re a robber that is, in an armed society that’s often a short-term employment. See the Jessie James gang for details.

Personally, I’m not trading unless we are armed and I have a real need for something.

I watched the X vid twice. A bit confusing and I think I’ve a decent grasp on finances.

      Economic Collapse survival rules

#1 develop connections to trustworthy folks and figure out who in your family is trustworthy. COVID did give us a strong hint how they might react during a crisis.

If my home burned down, I have a known bed awaiting me and mine as do those who would so support my family.

#2 Stay out of debt. If in debt (and cannot get out before crash) decide if losing that item to the collector is better than throwing family assets at it.

Proverbs 22:7 states, “The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender” (plenty more).

#3 Look at ANYTHING you can cut to reduce daily outflow of family resources. Do you really NEED Netflix? Three I-Phones with big plans?
Packing the lunch is SO OLD SCHOOL, Fancy drive through coffees, as it cooking at home for so many folks I know.

Do the math, get used to bringing a thermos of coffee with you.

DO IT NOW before a crash. AFTER a crash your options are reduced often to zero as that job vaporizes.

#4 Have an ever growing Aweshit fund. So many have to use a credit card because of a flat. Life happens, were adults here, plan ahead. You’d be amazed when I pull out a calculator on some folks I know and add up their coffee and muffin (plus tip) habit 50 weeks a year X 4-5 times a week.

If you have so much money you can buy gold maybe you should be investing in trusted friends operations. I helped a buddy buy good breeding stock pigs for his operation. It costs just as much money to feed, shelter, fence and all that work a good quality breeding pair as a “pig” breeding pair for meat.

But that extra money for quality means in less than 3 years the selling of Breeding Stock PAID for the good quality stock and frankly the whole operations of his meat farming.

My money came back in full.

Also, I get a half a pig every year already vacc packed as a bonus. They know if they need a weekend off, I’ll take care of their homestead.
