When the establishment wants to change society, they import those who will. America was predominately a Protestant nation. Solution: Encourage immigration from the catholic* countries, the Irish Catholics, Italian Catholics, etc., who are and vote predominantly left of center. Over time, the voting blocks grew to dominate in business as well. Same pattern. Take the small jobs, build the base, plant the seed, watch it grow. Oops, the tide was swinging back to the “Protestant” side of things, what to do? Import more people who will stuff the vote in your favor.
