The Death of Hollywood

I would estimate less than six months before the death of Hollywood and all of its associated studios across the nation. I saw a trailer for the new Wildwood cartoon movie. I was thinking that AI could generate a photorealistic version at a fraction of the cost in a fraction of the time.

Everyone always said the book was better than the movie. AI will generate a movie from the book instead of a woke script. Imagine the impact on our culture without the woke DEI propaganda.

  1. Momentum will keep Hollywood going longer than another 6 months. However, they are in serious trouble nonetheless. As for AI movies, while this sort of slop may hold the attention of the masses (hey, the garbage Hollywood has been producing has done so for a couple of decades now), it is still fake and ghey, and does nothing at all for me, except to repulse me with it’s oddly stilted dialog, artificially clean and precise visual renderings, and simplistic plot lines.

It has a very long way to go to meet the very best that the movie industry used to be capable of. And the present example is a trope that’s already been done to death; the revenge of the machines against humanity. Do we really need another movie that plays on that theme? I haven’t set foot in a theatre since 1989. This stuff certainly won’t get my butt back into the seat at a local cineplex.

  2. Thanks David for a nice change of pace. As for me. I enjoyed it, no Hollywood woke preaching, no evil white guys, no 90lbs women beating the hell out of 250lb SF types. No actors who made the movie, attacking me and saying how I must be put in camps because I dont agree with their perversions, at interviews or on talk shows on the movie.

Mostly anymore, I just want to relax, escape from life and be entertained not lectured or have to dissect a plot and even think about arguing on social media its complex plots hidden meaning in relation to today’s social norms and struggles.

Anyone else notice what was missing in this AI utopia? Lots more People.
A large city is crowded but not this one. 95% of the population wont be needed in the future and this showed that exactly.
