I apologize for comments on this site lately. I don’t like deleting people’s comments but after reviewing comments that are just trolls and profanity, I have banned several people.

State collapse is inevitable when a society’s leaders are insulated from the negative consequences of their bad decisions.

Goodness, I get busy preparing the homestead for winter and craziness erupts?
Guess I didn’t miss much. Was it the anti-boomer propaganda threads?
Still trying to research why those banks dropped so much in value from your article earlier this week.
You do good work David even when I don’t agree with you.

No apology necessary, sir. Thank you for your site and all you do. I will keep my comments truthful and civil. I will endeavor to persevere.

I’m not sure if I’m banned or not but some of my comments have not shown up. Sorry I couldn’t have been more agreeable on certain subjects but I thought this was an open area of debate. My apologies and I promise to be more complicit going forward.

There is a difference between trolling and having a different opinion. Opinions with facts are welcome.

But, but, getting facts takes time, effort, research, and thinking. It is so much easier to make ad hominem attacks, set up strawmen, and appeal to emotion. I mean, trolling is hard work too. (sarc)

I can’t say I saw any particularly offensive comments recently, but maybe they were pulled before I got to reading them. I have a thick skin anyway, so not much rattles me. Of course I do understand the desire to maintain certain standards of decorum here, so if David (or any other site admins there may be) decide something is out of line, that is entirely their right. Your efforts are appreciated, in any case.

I don’t have to tell anyone that we live in dangerous times. This site allows people to take information that is important for making intelligence. No one has time for trolls or idiocracy.
Opinions are fine but need to have facts, not ideological agendas for a basis.
