Boomers Are the New Scapegoats

Will our children and grandchildren blame us for the fall of the United States? If the Deep State has started a campaign against the “Boomers”, it means that we are close to the collapse and they are getting desperate.

Will this attempt to get rid of the last generation who built this nation succeed?

  1. David didn’t I mention that anti Boomer propaganda wasn’t gone but on the backburner?

The powers that be used the media to keep us at each other’s throats.

    Divide and conquer still works.

Wait until they use the media to Patriots as horders and dangerous to (insert protected group).

Gobbels and Orwell’s 1984 has a lot to say about that.

  2. This planned technocracy has been in the works for over a century. But some want a scapegoat rather than anymore ‘noticing’.
    Dates matter.
4/16/1910 Jewish Abraham Flexner released report to centralize medical system with pharma industry control.
    7/5/1920 Rothchild founded Chatham house.
7/29/1921 Council of Foreign Relations founded.
11/22/1910 Bankers and Treasury meet at Jekyll Island to set up laws to establish FED
2/3/1913 16th ratified (Federal income tax).
    12/23/1913 Federal Reserve Act passed.
ADL was also established in 1913. But sure, blame boomers.

  3. Just more divide and control. Its not like the boomers as a class of which I am one, had any control over what .GOV, politicians and billionaires did or do. As a aside notice how its not all boomers, just the WHITE ones are shown? Anyone who thinks just because you are in a certain age group YOU/I control things or even think or act the same is a utter fool.

Think of it more this way, let’s say all the boomers are taken out and shot on Wednesday at noon and wow no more boomers, everyone can now celebrate all the money and free homes and fame you will suddenly come into.

Then on Thursday morning at 8:00 AM, the Millennials will be declared the NEW scapegoats to blame everything on. Until they are gone then its on to Gen Z. Then after the various generations are gone then who gets blamed? Come on you know who….

Can you see where this leads? To the end of the group that’s allegedly responsible for everything bad done by anyone on the entire planet since time began.

That’s right its: Bye Bye Whiteys….

    1. “And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”
      ― Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn , The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

      1. “What would things have been like if ”

Those of us who have read that passage, are about to find out.

  4. https://jonathanturley.org/2026/09/08/you-better-get-ready-for-war-socialists-tells-supporters-to-prepare-for-war-in-the-streets-and-the-end-of-capitalism/ I am a boomer, they are just projecting what they are doing, that is how communists work. Get ready they are going kinetic either before or after the mid-terms.

  5. Any time anyone has a post – positive or negative – about Boomers, all the Boomers queue up to insist they’re all innocent little snowflakes and “not all Boomers” and none of them fit the mean stereotypes. It’s utterly predictable.

As part of Generation Jones, thinking back on former coworkers, friends, acquaintances, etc., I think the characterization of Boomers is spot on. Endlessly complaining about welfare or foreign aid (and no, I’m not in favor of either) while declaring “Hands off MY Social Security.” Plenty of them are busy spending their kids’ inheritance on endless cruises and empty ‘dream homes.’

As far as the threadbare “Divide and Conquer” explanation- just no. There was never some unified “we.” Yankees vs. rednecks vs. White ethnic immigrants, rural vs. urban, etc. All part of the Boomer myth. Yes, they were too young to vote for the 1965 immigration act and all of LBJ’s “Great Society” garbage, but neither did they make the slightest attempt to pull back from the edge of the cliff. And here we are.

    1. The absolute worst stupid all occurred on the boomer’s watch.

The same was once true for each preceeding generation, since the beginning of the exponential expansion of clown world, a very *very* long time ago.

The boomer’s watch is about to end, and the next generation will watch over exponentially greater stupid than has ever been seen.

    2. Regarding division among disparate groups, you are correct. There always has been division over varying self interests, and it occurs naturally. We don’t need propaganda to do the job. Even if they are shoveling that shit by the truckload on us. Naturally, those divisions get more pronounced and troublesome when society goes through hard times, as people will always ascribe blame where they perceive it belongs. And when things go south, the generation that holds the lions share of wealth, and poltiical power and influence is going to get pegged as being largely responsible. It is just innate human behavior to blame those in control for mismanagement, when things go to hell under their tutelage.

Now, there is ample room for legitimate criticism of boomers. I’ve known (or merely overheard) boomers gloating over “spending my kid’s inheritance” on frivolities for years now. Yes, it’s their money, and they can piss it down whatever rat hole they want, but it is particularly galling when genuinely wealthy boomers have to go out of their way to spend outrageously just so their kids will get nothing (entirely by intent) when they pass. And I’m not talking about living comfortably, but extravagantly.

My grandparents (silents) still understood the unspoken rule of assisting their children (my parents) in getting started in their young adulthood. Since they had the capacity to do so, my paternal grandparents underwrote the mortgage on the home my parents bought (and my mother still lives in today) in the early 70’s, so they didn’t have to go to the bank and take a loan. I don’t know what the terms were, but I’m certain my grandfather made them a low interest loan, more so than they could’ve gotten through normal channels.

When my grandfather passed about 1995 (grandma predeceased him by a few years) both my dad and his sister (the only surviving family) both received substantial inheritances. Granted, my grandfather was successful both in business and investing, but he was generous with assisting my parents (and my aunt and uncle) for 20+ years, until his death.

This isn’t a blanket condemnation of the entire boomer cohort (my parents were generous in assisting me to the extent they could, having 4 kids – of which I was the oldest – and I appreciated that whenever it occured. But they also were not what I consider prototypical boomers, as they were very much unassuming, morally and fiscally conservative individuals. My mom didn’t work my entire childhood, and in fact didn’t take a part time job until my youngest brother was starting high school. That gave myself and my siblings a traditional upbringing with a mother who was a homemaker instead of being latchkey kids, like so many of my generational cohort ended up. They remained married (and it wasn’t always easy) until my dad passed in his 50’s of a massive heart attack. Meanwhile, so many of my friends and classmates got ground up in acrimonious divorces where their parents weaponized them against each other. From the perspective of someone who grew up in that environment, I rightly see many (but not all) boomers as childish, selfish, petty, trifling and narcissistic assholes. And I stand by that analysis.

Now, the most important lesson is this: if what I just typed in the last paragraph pissed you off because you are a boomer, stop and ask yourself: does that assessment honestly describe my conduct throughout my adult life? If it doesn’t, then you need not be offended and jump off the line to bitch and moan about how boomers are being slagged so badly, because the criticism doesn’t apply to you.

But, the amusing thing here is that so many will be quick to post a knee jerk denials that boomers were like that, while simultaneously exclaiming that they are one of the good ones who didn’t do any of that stuff. There seems to be no capacity for self reflection and assessment, nor any restraint against getting defensive, which explains the immediate chorus of butthurt that piles onto every comments section where criticism of boomer tendencies gets aired out. It’s as predictable as the sun rising in the east. Now that I’ve lit the fuse, I get to stand back and see how big the blast radius will be. Because experience hath shewn that it will be big.

      1. Excellent comment. Very well said.

      2. ‘I’ve known (or merely overheard) boomers gloating over “spending my kid’s inheritance” on frivolities for years now.’
That is fucking appalling. For what it’s worth coming from Boomer me.

  6. Boomer scapegoating is just Marxist class warfare deflecting anger away from ruinous gov policies. Obviously Boomer workers didn’t establish high interest rates (causing price inflation) or high immigration rates (causing housing and jobs shortages) or foreign wars (causing high fuel prices) – these are all results of GOV policy choices. Voters who support all these things are of many demographic classes. Socialism is being promoted to the younger demographic as a solution to the perceived inequity of wealth distribution. Who has the wealth? Older people, who have worked and struggled for decades to acquire it. So MORE GOV is promoted as a solution to GOV-CAUSED problems. The problem is the GOV, always has been. The Gov is deflecting, and the young are disenfranchised by GOV POLICIES.

  7. As someone at the tail end of the ‘boomer’ generation I have to say I do feel like I’ve been sh*t on all my life. But I also see the divide and conquer angle and Marxist class warfare agenda. I recall Polpot and how this was used there. I ran across this interesting perspective which is probably closer to the truth and is a must read: https://terratimes.substack.com/p/were-living-in-perverted-weimar-20-df7
