Not sure who reads Hal Turner here. He brought this up back in May or June. I bought two extra oil changes for my truck, girlfriend’s rav4, mom and nieces Hondas.
Has been mentioned here on this site that motor oil was going to be in short supply.
Also, as oil filters are made of plastic (thus oil) and mostly made in Asia the area most suffering from lack of Middle East oil supplies expect oil filters to also become in short supply.
Care to guess where most of the rubber for tires comes from? Made in the USA tires come from Asian rubber and synthetic OIL made tires.

Seems Trumps selling the Strategic Oil Reserve with the pinky promise they will refill it sometime in the future bought us some “kick the can” time from the ongoing loss of Middle eastern oils.
Pity it didn’t help with fertilizer, sulfur (used for so many things) Urea and helium required for computer chips that also came from there.
I wonder what the status of America’s strategic helium reserve is today? I know Taiwan and Korea have been getting resupplied from us.
Maybe it’s time to buy a second set of tires, filters and oil changes?

I grossly stocked up in May/June,was 17-18 a 5 qrt synth,now 23-24 and many times unavailable,sigh….I hate being correct,times like these wish I was wrong!
If you don’t know how to ride a horse you might to start learning and seek out riding schools to learn and purchase horses if you have the property, we could be heading back to pre 1900 transportation. Just wondering out loud, how many of us would survive this type of lifestyle, probably not many. Many of us were not raised like our great, great grandparents were, they were rugged people and much of that knowledge has been lost thru our modern way of life from our parents. Unless you grew up like the Amish people who know how to survive without modern conveniences and still are farming in some cases with age old farming practices. What ever anyone has stored up in the way of freeze dried foods will survive longer than other people but at some point they also will be in serious trouble unless they double up on there storage capacity. If you have septic and well at least you won’t die of water and poison from your waste . if and when the water and sewer system shuts down the majority of people will die of other diseases for lack of proper sanitation. What a cluster mess this would turn into. May God have mercy on this nation if this was to occur.

I have decided that to get more “Winning”, I must be paid a dividend of at least $15K. With that, I can fill up my gas tank on both cars, pay my state property theft so I can keep my home and get a early Bird dinner for 2 at Texas Roadhouse but no sides with that. Then its back to Spam and rice……..
yeah. figured this was going to happen a few months back. warned my neighbors to stock up on oil and anything MADE from oil.
gasoline is going up too like mad, it was 4.59 the other day (?)
and 5 days before that I filled up a 4.26. diesel is over 6 bucks here in PA. and last I heard was heating oil was 4.50-5 buck per gallon.
winters get cold here and most people fill the tank at least twice per season. good firewood has gone up as well around here.
I heat with wood and it costs me some gasoline and sweat.
a whole lot cheaper than filling 2 oil tanks every winter !
if you can, get and install a good wood stove. forget getting a pellet stove unless you can run a generator for at least a week or more.
but even so, EVERYTHING RUNS ON DIESEL IN THIS COUNTRY.
but if nothing else, prices like they are make the case for BIO-diesel now. only problem with it is, it doesn’t work well in colder weather/temps. but if the tank is kept inside it might work as heating oil. that I don’t know.
so, the price of everything will be going up. YUP. ain’t this a great time to be alive ?
so, yeah. take whatever money you have left and buy canned food.
stuff you will EAT.
maybe put in a nice size garden while you at it as well.
think things are rough now, wait another 3-4 months of this shit.
things will really start getting rough when people start going without
food or they start getting cold in their homes. and that is when people will do just about anything to get what they need.
for most people in this country , it will come as a massive shock that
they can not get what they want/need. think crime is bad now ?
wait a little longer and you start seeing how bad it will soon be.

I saw this coming years ago and I prepared for a grid down scenario as best I can with a 10 kw kohler whole house generator, two large propane tanks, one 500 gallon underground and one 120 gallon above ground for the gas range which lasts well over one year, along with this a 7 kw solar array system I hooked up in my home and wired it directly into my main circuit breaker, I have tried to cover all the basics with back ups but we never know what can happen if this goes down. prayerfully it won’t. Besides all this we need the tools to protect ourselves and crossbows and recurve bows if you need to use them quietly.
I try not to contemplate on this happening but if it does at least my family will have surviving chance against the onslaught that will come our way.
Don’t forget air filters, wiper blades, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and gear oil if you have a differential. Get, or do, service on your car now even if it is a bit early. Things like transmission oil changes are done every 30,000 miles for most vehicles. Consolidate shopping to cut down mileage or make stops on the way to/from work. Do whatever you can to make your vehicle last.
