While almost everything we say and do will eventually end up in AI, why would anyone deliberately feed their private, or even their public, information into what will become a control grid?
I begin to think that an extended grid down scenario might not be an entirely bad thing….
At this point, that is probably the only thing that will save all of humanity from the indignity of being slaves. As one who grew up in the era of new technology having great promise for improving the future, where we are now sure as hell isn’t what we were sold, starting in the late 70’s. There was a time where I practically worshipped new tech (as a naive child and young adult) but I’m increasingly becoming a hard core Luddite, as it has become clear what these bastards are planning to do.
If you have a data center in your AO it’s time to do an area study and “deconstruction plan”.
one of the first things I did after I retired was to trash my cell phone.
I have a land line. it more than enough really. E-mail ? yeah I have one that I never take the time to look at. there are a handful of people I keep in touch with and the rest of it, about 90% is spam trying to sel me something I don’t need.
it seems to me that all of these “data centers” are nothing more than a way to keep track of US. have you EVER heard or read anything about “flock” stopping a crime or even finding out who did it ?
yeah. not me either. and why do they all have to be placed on farmland ? plenty of spots in most cities that could be used.
lots of space in the old rust belt cities where old factories used to be.
I put this crap in the same level of windmills. yeah, they NEVER make enough to pay for putting the damn things up and who wants to see them all over the place anyway?
and they all going to used YOUR money to build them ?
