  1. Whaddya think is going to happen to your 401k accounts?
    You’re going to wake up one morning, and the (P)resident will be sitting in the oval office, telling you how they are going to nationalize your savings into bonds, you’re not going to lose a penny, guaranteed returns, it’s for your safety. You really don’t understand, you’re not qualified to make these kinds of decisions. We’re here to help.

    1. news for you , they already do that with all of the TSP accounts.
      every time there is a Gov’t shutdown, the tap into the TSP accounts to keep “things a running”. first ting I did after retiring was to transfer all
      the money in the TSP to a private saving account. then turn in into stuff I can touch and hold.

  2. I guess my response would be to buy goods/stack metals…..,oh,and tell her to fuck off.

    I feel this will be coming to America shores soon though,my response will be the same just at a higher level then am at.

  3. I stopped keeping money in any bank years ago. what comes in, goes out to pay bills or buy ‘stuff” yeah. I have a lot of ‘stuff”.
    things like canned food, ammo and fuel for heat and my generators.
    good tools are a must have item. spare weapons will beneeded to arm other too stupid to own any when it all breaks down.
    it only a matter of when now that the debit is over 40 trillion.
    one thing I do have a lot of is cans of coffee. and a fair bit of instant as well. I learned the value of a good hot cup of coffee while in the army years ago. it can make a huge difference in your outlook on life
    right then and there. the too, I keep a fair bit of tea on hand for the same reason.
