   I have a ton of money by freeze drying my own food, the only major outlay is the investment in the dryer which cost me around $2,400 but I already made my money back on the dryer with all the organic food I dried in the last seven years. I would recommend purchasing a freeze dryer because freeze dried foods have gone thru the roof especially organic dried foods.
