Don’t Give Up Hope

If my life trajectory can teach anyone anything, it’s not to give up hope. Don’t succumb to the darkness and don’t let the darkness consume you. Don’t be influenced by nonsensical voices. Find inner strength and follow a compass with a magnetic pull stronger than the media influences. We can overcome and rebuild. We need to step away from the noise and put our minds in a new ethno-tribal state of awareness, and live as if this is our new reality. If we can do this, our new reality awaits us in real time.

  1. I hope in a good death. A few weeks from 50 now. Don’t really want to fall into the inevitable decline.
I’ll take my rifle and go man the wall so the younger guys have a chance to endure.

  2. Quote from Stockdale came to mind when I saw that header…
You must never confuse faith that you will prevail in the end—which you can never afford to lose—with the discipline to confront the most brutal facts of your current reality, whatever they might be.”

    The Stockdale Paradox

The Balance: You must keep hope for the future alive.

The Reality: You must also look at hard, painful facts right now without lying to yourself.

Who Survived: Stockdale noted that naive optimists who said “we will be out by Christmas” often died of broken hearts when Christmas passed.
