This comes as no surprise, when the financialization of everything, and criminal scams are allowed to flourish with complete impunity, all to maintain the illusion of a “good economy” by keeping the market indexes inflated (as if that singular metric is solely indicative of the nation’s economic health). When it finally cracks, and the market tanks, the illusion will finally be busted.
