Hope he got a patent on it before showing it to them.

    1. There was a documentary years ago about the birth of the high tech industry in the 70’s and 80’s. They interviewed all the big names you know, and one of them was Steve Jobs of Apple who related about the time he visited the experimental development department at Xerox with some executives. They were working on what we now know as the mouse and the graphical user interface for computers at Xerox and Jobs was VERY interested in what he saw. He asked for a full demonstration and technical details, to which the Xerox Development director objected. The Execs at Xerox were only interested in the business of making photo copies and did not realize what they had. They let Jobs gets his hands all over it, over the objections of the Dev dept head, (she was interviewed too) and Jobs simply stole what he saw and took it to Apple.

I’ve never understood why any company that has technology like this to allow tours.
The company I work for makes the absorbent material that goes inside disposable diapers and those packs under the meat at the grocery store.
They allowed a group of Chinese to tour or plant and come to find out, they stole our secrets via secret cameras and probably an employee that couldn’t keep their mouth shut.
Now the Chinese are making this absorbent material and giving us serious competition on the market.
