I just have to ask the, to me anyways, obvious questions. Where are the ships from that have been attacked? Do any of of the countries have military? Saudi Arabia? Whoever else?
Is not an attack on your shipping worth a military response? Seriously?
Why are these countries not crushing the Houthis? Is this not affecting their economy? Is that not considered an act of war?
If the countries that have been attacked in the middle east grew a backbone and united this would be over quickly.
Short answer: they are afraid of uniting because they can’t stop an Iranian attack. As for information, the news is being suppressed by Israel and the West.

You seem to harbor some misconceptions about several core issues in the region. To start with, Saudi Arabia “has a military” in the sense that the purchased billions of dollars of high end equipment from the US in the last 40 years. They have been the main combatant in a war against the Yemen Houthis since 2015 that included much of the GCC states and Jordan. It was also a proxy war in the sense that the US provided all types of combat service support, ISR and targeting, logistics, and political orchestration. What the Saudis found out was that the Yemen Houthis were no pushovers. They could take all the bombing you could throw at them and still hit you back in ways that hurt. The terrain is not unlike the Iranian side of the Persian Gulf, and features high mountains overlooking the seaway. The Houthis usually fired ballistic missiles at Saudi oilfields and airports as a response to Saudi bombing and that was always more costly to SA than it was to Yemen. SA also found out that the Raytheon Patriot system is nearly useless against ballistic missiles, especially when considering the cost. On the ground, the main Saudi force is SANG or Saudi Arabia National Guard. They are essentially the Saudi Army. Despite having M-1 Abrams tanks, the Houthi’s mopped the floor with them in all of the border fighting that took place. There are many great videos of these actions that show multiple knocked out and burning M-1 tanks if you look for them. Buying all expensive weapons and manning them with substandard personnel does not make for a good outcome.
In the last few years, the US, NATO, and Israel have all made multiple related attempts to break the Houthis militarily without good effect. The Houthi Red Sea blockage of all Israeli linked shipping led to the bankruptcy and closing of the Israeli port of Eilat. The US Navy spent 2 formal named campaigns trying to clear the Red Sea and failed. Multiple US drones were lost over Yemen and American Carriers and escorts were forced to maneuver frantically and at least 2 fighter jets were lost overboard from these evasive moves by the official story.
The US Navy resorted to hiding at the far northern end of the Red Sea until there was a cease fire between the US and Houthis in May 2025. This did not include Israel or Israel linked shipping which remained under attack until there was a broader ceasefire agreement with Gaza that October. All the US accomplished was demonstrating that the current fleet is ineffective and vulnerable against anyone fielding modern anti-shipping weapons, especially in restricted waters. The Houthis, like Ukraine, do not have anything resembling a navy of their own, which further underscores the obsolescence of US Navy doctrine and shipbuilding.
