   The war will continue…in some form or another…as long as islam exists. THEIR rules, not ours.

   The Patriot stocks are reported to be around 1000 remaining and the THAADS are a couple hundred. There was a controversy over US troops recording the incoming attacks with their cell phones and uploading the footage to the Internet. The War Dept suggested that this must stop since it helps Iranians with accuracy, and suggested that the phones will be confiscated. It is an interesting development since the Iranian accuracy is due to real time ISR support from China and not looking at OSINT postings from US troops 24 hours after an attack. There is a risk with turning on a cell phone in a war zone, and our troops evidently learned nothing from Ukraine since they are all still doing it, but that vulnerability is the phone emissions themselves and no so much the video content.
   It is clear the War Department is just trying to keep a lid on the narrative that these bases are not being systemically destroyed by Iranian missiles. It does not appear that the Iranians are particularly targeting the US troops as of yet. If they were they could take note of where the phone emissions were clustered during the raids and that location probably matches the obvious shelter locations they can see on satellite reconnaissance. Our troops evidently do not have buried bunkers, but some kind of pre-fab metal trailers or shipping containers that are just parked on the surface. A video from the casualty event a few days ago shows a base under alert and the Americans ditch their swivel chairs and head to one of these shelters. It is nighttime and it is hard to be certain, but I suspect these shelters are not even covered with any dirt or sand to add some additional protection. In the video I watched, everyone had a cell phone on and in hand, to include a female in a leadership capacity. She advised everyone in the shipping container shelter to stay away from the walls as much as possible. That suggests to me that the metal walls and Iranian targeting priorities being on equipment instead of personnel are the only things keeping our fatalities down.
