“They’re supposed to take a picture of that person, and you get a ticket,” she continues, noting that the families bringing their children out to the bus are then being photographed too.

“But it gets worse. So many people have complained about these Flock cameras that many cities, including Los Angeles, said, ‘You know what?’ The city of Los Angeles said, ‘We’re going to cancel our contract. Instead, we’re going to go with another company called Axon,’” she says.

This company, Fix warns, makes Flock cameras “look like child’s play.”

“They’ve moved it to the whole next level. They have gone even farther, and they’re making contracts with people that have ended their Flock camera systems,” she explains.

“They will be putting their cameras on every single light post. No permits, no requirements, just putting them on every single light post. That’s about 450 million around the world. And that means every light post on every street will have a camera,” she continues.

Fix claims there’s also a link between the new “kill switch” in cars and this new surveillance system.

Run Inference for complex queries (e.g., “find all videos where a person drops an object” or “track this vehicle across 50 cameras in 30 seconds”).”

Train the next generation of recognition models (e.g., better accent detection for Axon, improved night-vision vehicle ID for Flock).

The United States currently has 84 tracked AI data center facilities with a combined selected tracked capacity of 43.6 GW across 53 operators, according to the AI Data Center Index.

However, broader estimates vary depending on the scope:

• Total Data Centers: The US has approximately 5,500 total data centers, which is about 10 times the number in the next closest country.
• Crowdsourced Reports: Activist Erin Brockovich’s mapping project tracks over 4,000 major AI data centers, with more than 2,700 community reports filed as of mid-2026.
• Operational vs. Pipeline: Of the 84 tracked AI facilities, 45 are operational and 39 are in the pipeline.

Meta leads the buildout with 14.7 GW of tracked capacity, followed by Amazon Web Services (9.0 GW) and Microsoft (5.5 GW). The highest concentrations of development are found in Texas, Virginia, and Oregon.

Final note… between your cellphone, your vehicle tracking (if you have a newer vehicle) Flock & Axon surveillance, everyone else out there that is constantly using their phone for video, your TV set, your online activity, and the activity of everyone in your circle who uses these devices, has you on their “friends” page (or whatever it’s called on FB), their contact list, and their email, your privacy is assuredly nonexistent, and it’s far beyond too late to do anything about it.
