There are decades of history recording governmental entities intentionally lying to the people, covertly experimenting !!! on people, misnaming legislation or governmental departments, e.g. USAID and more !
For variety, how about a REAL job where you produce, manufacture, build, grow or innovate for the safety, security and well being of the population (and I’m NOT, NOT including illegal, LAW breakers among that group) !

Can you tell from this sentence: “The technology will be used the way it was intended to be used” exactly WHAT the intention is? That’s the point. People hear the words from the police department and feel safe because the people fill in their own definition of what “intent” meant.
Maybe it’s time people started removing every camera they’ve installed and destroying them until replacing the spy network grid system they’re building becomes so expensive that they finally give up and hold accountable every political person involved in setting up this system and imprisoning them.

Carbyne and Toka are 2 israeli companies which have contracts with many of our local police departments, including monitoring and controlling 911 systems (carbyne). Whitney Webb and her team wrote extensively about these connections and contracts awhile ago.

Why paint, just remove the cameras or break them where they can never be repaired ever again, or just shoot them down with a silencer on you hand gun .

Absolutely, late at night and completely masked up.
Blue or green laser at least 100 mw. Direct it at the camera lens and move in small circles. Approach from the side and hit it with the laser as you walk to the center. Mask up, and when they become available again buy Reflectacles glasses full IR blocking lenses. Wear loose clothing and practice walking with a limp or shuffling gait. I believe there is also an IR blocking cap for sale online. Be safe out there. And let your local tweekers know there is significant copper and silver in the cameras and solar panels.
Just remember to leave your phone home and not on your person.
Yes, or have a sat phone if you need it, these phones can’t be traced and even if they tried they can only trace within a 50 mile radius , it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack , they will never find you.
