This is Iran propaganda and even if it was true they wouldn’t last one day with the crappy junket ships they have and they would all be blown out of the water. These idiots tried to take out one of carriers with Iranian drones and it didn’t go well for them and there drones, all were taken out and then they were bombed on land and they have been quiet.
You do remember that these self same ‘idiots’ chased the US Navy away just last year? They weren’t using ‘crappy junket ships.’ They were using missiles and drones.

You never send drones to take out a carrier unless it’s a major mistake—the hulls on these ships are so dense they’d be lucky to even scratch it, even if they got close. Believing otherwise comes from misinformation, but everyone’s entitled to their opinion. Unless you’re boots on the ground, you can’t really state the facts—it’s all just conjecture and propaganda. The real focus should be on the illegal alien terrorists that the Obama and Biden administrations allowed into the country and the potential destruction they could cause. Right now, they’re spreading their ideology from coast to coast, and that’s where our attention should be—not on ships in the Middle East. War is bloody, and no one truly wants it. Think back to WWI, WWII, the Korean conflict, and the Vietnam War—we lost over 750,000 men combined. The only people loudly opposing the last major conflict were the democratic party and its radicalized commie college students jacked up on LSD, Pot and Hashish. Back in the early 1950s, growing up in New York City, things didn’t feel right with the democratic party dominating the entire political system and look at them now being run by the same radicalized mindset such as Iran and by Mamdani.

Aircraft carriers have never been heavily armored as a class of warship with the slight exception of 1930’s carriers built on converted cruiser hulls. The USS Forrestal fire off of Vietnam in 1967 was started by an accidental firing of a small Zuni rocket on the crowded flight deck. The fire took a full day to extinguish, took 134 lives, destroyed dozens of aircraft, and nearly destroyed the Forrestal itself. As it was she spent 5 months being repaired. This was not an uncommon occurrence in American carrier operations, as there were 2 other similar serious carrier fires in the Vietnam War, Oriskany 1966 22 dead, and Enterprise 1969 , 28 dead and Zuni rocket again. These were accidents, but the same chain of events with ignition of aviation fuel and sympathetic detonation of munitions is just as likely through enemy action. This is how most WW2 carriers died on both sides with the other major cause being submarines.
The USS Ford had a mysterious 30 hour laundry fire during the earlier Iran fighting and it took 30 hours to put it out. The ship was put out of action and had to cancel a combat deployment to the Persian Gulf area in an ongoing hot war. The Forrestal fire did not even take 30 hours to put out. You can decide what that means for yourself, but if a carrier can be put out of action by accidental fire from someone not cleaning the lint screen on a dryer, then the whole platform is a deathtrap and a waste of money. The replacement carrier sent out of Norfolk Virginia conspicuously took the long way around Africa to reach the Arabian Sea instead of the shorter route through the Med and Red Sea. I wonder what had them spooked? defective dryer sheets perhaps?

How does the steel hull prevent a chain reaction explosion of any ordinance that happens to hit the flight deck filled with armed and fueled combat aircraft? Your assertion that a modern attack drone cannot possibly damage a US carrier because of hull or deck metallurgy is laughable. If these ships were even remotely as invulnerable as you insist they are, the Navy would not have been keeping them 200km from Hormuz throughout the active campaign and that Strait would not be in enemy hands now would it.
About that previous round of fighting with Yemen in the Red Sea, you will recall that we lost 2 aircraft overboard on separate occasions when American carriers were forced to violently maneuver while under intense Houthi drone and missile fire. You would think they were afraid of being hit or something, but what do I know. Those losses are combat losses of multi-million dollar aircraft nonetheless and the missiles expended shooting down the Houthie attack also cost money and are hard to replace, both in the industrial procurement sense and in the tactical logistic sense in theatre as USN surface escorts must me rearmed in a secure port.
Trump’s campaigns to reopen the Red Sea never achieved that mission. The Houthies only lifted their blockades when Iran/Hezbollah/Gaza were involved in general cease fires which Israel needed and was seeking. It was a clear demonstration that the US Navy cannot safely operate in restricted seaways against anyone fielding modern anti shipping armaments, even a sub-national group without any navy at all in this case. Do my homework indeed, you ought to stick to spouting off about the Old Testament on every imaginable subject, you clearly don’t know anything at all about this one.
I believe you need to do your homework some more, I don’t need to, I know what I know and by you spouting out naval logistics and tactics means nothing, do you have special pipeline to naval and pentagon procedures and intelligence that they brief you personally about naval maneuvers or did you get the info from other pundits in your arena who make things up. And that’s right you better look to the scriptures for your answers or you find yourself on the short end of the stick, do not mock God nor his word you will find yourself in a place where you don’t want to be. As for this conflict it will be over sooner than you think and you and everyone who thinks like you will be embarrassed. The world war which you people preach is just fantasy because it won’t end like this, But folks like you won’t be embarrassed, right.

Whatever you say Phil. You posted that you were all too familiar with gold, silver, copper, etc, to establish your expertise in this subject. You should be giving lectures at the Naval War College with those credentials.

I was a US Navy Shipfitter (WG-10S2 Journeyman) at Portsmouth (NH) Naval Shipyard with a USN Welding School certificate for 7 years before I left in 2021 over Covid Vax refusal. No, I did not get any secret briefings of steel hull metallurgy like you did, despite needing a security clearance to get and hold the job. We only worked on nuclear subs there and the steel on them is nothing like the magic metallurgy used on aircraft carriers (sarcasm).

I would be happy to be wrong about the obvious shortcomings and vulnerabilities of the US Navy. I will be right here in any event and would be delighted to be wrong about all of it. I worked in the nuclear power plant field on nuclear fuel containment vessels as well as refueling reactors and rcp cooling pumps repairs and engineering ,and many other intricate equipment as well power generation equipment on General Electric and Westinghouse steam turbines that made electric in large cities. Along with this I had to be educated in various types of aerospace high tech metals it was part of my job description and we also had a complete welding department with over 300 welders on corporate payroll all union workers and yes they were all needed for various types of intricate welding capabilities on various projects. I no longer do this because I have retired from my company a very long time ago, 26 years ago and opened up a metals company for a short while servicing the aerospace industry . The company I retired from had well over 75,000 employees. Iam all to familiar with such things as this, but that does not make me any smarter than anyone else. I no longer work and I am retired but still remember everything .The things I have seen in my lifetime in this industry the public will never see especially free energy.
