Minnesota is also a child tax credit – refundable state. Surreally, I don’t think it is tied to a percent of the Fed child tax credit. With the Fed CTC, a family must have had a goodly amount of earned income to actually receive a high percent of the CTC on Fed tax filing. But Minnesota GIVES THEM the full CTC refund without having earned a fkng dime in income. I dont think it is capped at any max number of children either.
Anyhow, vague memory of stats my older son sent me some months ago. Lol, with 6 children under age 13 (family round II, lol) I should move to Mn and let them buy a house for me too. What a fkng scam if true.
