   It may well be that “America 250” was the last great bread and circus for a good long time to come, if the murmurings I’m hearing here, there, and everywhere about the state of energy – petroleum products specifically – are even partly true. Brace for impact, at the very least there will be massive price spikes. And I expect the very worst, because no one in a position of power is doing the first damned thing to lessen the wreck that is coming straight at us. Every policy, law, regulation, and action taken on the part of those “governing” is 180° removed from what needs to be done. In short, we’re screwed.
