I like to read. A lot. I actually mostly read science fiction, because it reminds me of where we SHOULD be instead of where we are.
I especially liked this passage I read last night…

“The most common factors among all failed civilizations throughout history are the belief that a utopian society can exist, and that the best way to achieve that utopia is to force people with vastly different beliefs to live together. All living creatures naturally prefer to associate with their own kind. The same is true with humans. Most of us are more comfortable among those with similar beliefs and ethics. The mistake leaders have made is thinking there is something wrong with this.”
