The Senate completed its part of the override process nearly a year ago. Today’s House vote finished the process, so the measure eliminating taxpayer-funded DEI programs in North Carolina public schools is now enacted. The House’s action today was the final required step for this particular bill.

Sure….the schools will be returning to normal at the start of the next school year…LOL. And I’ve got some swamp lands and bridges to sell.
I disagree with your unfounded assessment. Most of North Carolina is rural and did not put up with DEI in their schools prior to this law being put into effect.
DIE is like a hydra. They will do things like rename the programs and find ways to keep the programs secret. It is already happening at the university level. Besides, what are we gonna do with all those women and brown folks with useless degrees other than put them in our organizations to destroy them? There is definitely nowhere they can go to actually help things and be productive.
