Big pharma is not interested in cures, money and control are there interest. They have gotten rid of all the old home remedy’s that worked, take silver for example, in the old days silver was used to help recovery from many illnesses, they drank water from silver cups, when the wagon trains traveled across the country the put silver in water barrels.
If we used “health insurance” like we do say car or home insurance then this whole scam would stop. If a Dr or Pharmacist had to work in the free market we would have affordable health care and insurance would just pay when we had a very costly or catastrophic event. I guess there is no money in letting the free market work…at least for the “health insurance” companies.
We just experienced something like this. Wife started on an anti-cancer drug targeted toward a specific mutation in the type of cancer she has. The drug is not new. Our cost with insurance $1650.00 which is the remainder of our deductible for the year. Without insurance the cost was $16,000.00. I have her taking Ivermectin/Menbendazole also so hopefully she will go into remission and we won’t have another huge bill in January.

We have not had health insurance since 2016. Everything has been paid out of pocket. In a few years we’ll be “required” to get medicare. It’s interesting that the medications and procedures we “need” are suddenly almost nonexistent, pharmacy-wise. It’s amazing what pursuing a healthy lifestyle can do for your health. Just sayin’.
We had a “grandfathered” policy, but they (BCBS) kicked us off and sent us to Obamacare in 2016. An equivalent policy was over $3K per month. After 10 years, that would have been $360,000 (assuming the price did not go up, and of course it has). Our medical expenses over the last 10 years have barely topped $10,000, for EVERYTHING. My truck has cost me more than that.
A little research goes a long way.
A little math and learning to properly multiply doesn’t hurt either. I have no idea how $3k/mo turns into $360k/yr at your house.
