The seized Iranian money was only about $24 billion. The $300 billion is taxpayers money.
And the “war effort” probably already has had direct costs of nearly $300B between the armaments used, aircraft destroyed, etc. I can’t even begin to quantify the cost in damages to US bases in the ME that got wrecked, and the indirect costs in the US economy from this idiocy.
