Very few people speak of an imminent crisis, and most wilfully ignore it until it becomes an accomplished fact. Then they panic, try to deflect blame, and falsely claim “no one could’ve seen this coming”. In short, most people are idiots who will get caught with their pants around their ankles.
That’s the way most live their lives one day at a time never looking or planning for their future or anyone else’s…Sad That…
Also even though you/we know we are still going to get caught with our pants around our ankles if we don’t have a parallel system in place when it all comes crashing down…Just read that Oregon has a initiative on the ballot for banning all animal slaughter in the state including rodents and other vermin…I wonder how many will fight that if it passes by the Portland crowd or will they pick up and move…
Well, let them try to enforce that if normal channels of food distribution and retail sales fail, and people are suddenly starving. They might catch a few violators, but there aren’t enough police and game wardens to stop all hunting of wild animal populations. And the more they try to enforce it under those circumstances, the more they will become hunted themselves.
Desperation is a real bitch, and few people in the FUSA truly know what real hardship is (myself included), as we have been living fat and easy for a long time. Therefore, the reactions of most to such adversity will be extreme.
Yea but how many will go to jail before the SHTF because they killed something…

This has been talked about since last fall but nobody in the MSM has run a story. When the Valero refinery shut down in Jan it took a huge percentage of gas off the daily market. CA imports over 40% of it gas and jet fuel through the port at LA, which is at max capacity. There are no pipelines running to the state. No need when years ago there were 40 refineries. Now there are 7.
This will also cause issues in Phoenix and Las Vegas as those cities depend on CA gas and diesel shipments.
The port of LA also is the biggest importer of food especially during the fall and winter. When diesel is scarce how will the truckers deliver. They won’t.
This is a national security issue as it will impact Travis AFB and Camp Pendleton plus all the major airports.
There is no solution, it looks like the whole situation is a set up for failure. There is no way the Feds did not see this coming.
There will be food shortages up and down the west coast. By Autumn between the fuel shortages and the lack of spring planting in the valley. This is like watch a train wreck in slow motion, and their is nothing anyone can do to stop what’s coming.
