We estimate that the US red states after secession would have 51% of the US population, or 173 million. Add to that 6 million from Alberta & Saskatchewan. Of course the number would be much higher if the federal government causes a civil war, because the red states would take much more territory & population at the end of a war. Still, we shouldn’t take the whole US population – we’ve argued that governing the northeast US & eastern Canada is not worth the effort though, as we need a place to deport subversives to where they can find a livelihood.

You forgot to mark, in RED, the parts of Calif that will be fighting from inside the “Blue” zones. Most of far northern ca, most of counties on calif-nevada border, San Diego. The large cities are blue.
In the case of California–these red/blue maps are highly inaccurate. For California it would be over 75% Red as only a few densely populated leftist city areas dominate the state politically. Same with Nevada and more so with Oregon and Washington state. CWII scenarios would just wipe these areas off the map as they would be completely isolated.
Colorado, too. I don’t know a single person outside denver and boulder, peoples republics of, who supports our leftist government much less the doughy degenerate homosexual “governor”. Their civilian disarmament scheme has done nothing but radicalize folks against them and harden the resolve of those who were already vehemently pro-2nd amendment. Fuck them all. We’re here, we’ll fight. This is NOT their state. Never will be.

And that does not even take into account the many, many Chinamen who are allegedly hanging out in Western Canada.

A former colleague who lived in a mid-upscale neighborhood in Macon, GA area had a BATFE neighbor. I will say there will be areas in the hills of New England that will lean more towards the red states,feel the map will be a lot more spotty when done.
No offense, but there are NO RED STATES OR BLUE STATES. There are 50 purple states whose shades range from redder to bluer. I see IL and AZ have been divided a bit, but EVERY STATE could have a red area and a blue area, but at the neighborhood level, the lines are beyond blurry. And frankly, I don’t want to join up with most Republicans. They have NO PRINCIPLES or clue about freedom and liberty. Just look around to see that truth. As has been pointed out by others, ever the bluest of states are just blue cities surrounded by mostly red rural counties. That’s are ONLY ALLOWED two choices ignores the fact that this nation is truly divided into those who still respect personal liberty, property, privacy, etc and a varied swath of folks who could care less about any of that to different degrees and regarding different issues.

A national “divorce” will NOT be this neat, this organized, this easily identifiable. Because while some areas are predominantly red or blue all areas have residents from both sides. That means during such a break up all areas will see conflict as each side attempts to gain and hold control.
I have a friend who suggested that we make the large Blue cities independent city states. Remove the Blue Hives and every state would likely be a Red state. THEN secede from Mordor-On-The-Potomac and let them keep the city states. I know. Just dreaming …
