Yes, now cue the US deciding Pakistan needs to be bombed into submission. As things stand now, I can believe TPTB would be stupid enough to do it. Anything that screws up “our” (read: israel’s) objectives will be met with force, or at least that seems to be the emergent operating principle. And this action by Pakistan essentially negates the one carrot on the stick “we” had left in trying to bend Iran to “our” will.
