The “Kill” Switch

From Dr. Robert Malone: The real question is not whether someone can flip a switch and stop your car. It is whether you still meaningfully control the terms under which you are allowed to drive it.

… and from the Fyrgen in the UK …

Things seem to be changing on the Digital ID front whilst we’re all distracted by Iran and fuel prices.

Reluctantly, due to work, I tried to create a new gmail address today. It’s no longer possible to do without a phone, because Google demands that you verify identity using a smartphone.

Whilst trying to find a loophole, I saw this help article (screenshot, above).

I also heard today that UK Parliament has voted in favour of restricted Internet access for under-16s (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c5y7d2zx63jo). Of course, the real reason is to require people of all ages to show proof of age/identity before accessing the Internet, which will quickly become a requirement.

The brutal truth is that almost none of the millions of people who ‘say no to digital ID’ will actually avoid digital ID. It’s already here, and if in a month’s time we all have to prove our identity to access the Internet, who will say ‘no’?

I wouldn’t be able to say ‘no’, because as things stand, I rely partially on the Internet to feed my family. if you’re able to say ‘no’, more power to you. May you stand forever.

We should have been figuring out years ago how to make money offline, how to manage money offline, how to shop offline, how to socialise offline, how to be entertained offline.

It’s never too late to figure that stuff out, but it becomes harder to escape once we’ve already surrendered to it and bought ourselves the convenience of compliance.

The time is close at hand that one will have to decide whether to abandon the internet and newer cars. Freedom isn’t free …

We did figure it out just no one had the stones/courage to do it the chains of comfort weren’t to tight or you could say the water was just right to slow boil us…If we still around in ten years which isn’t looking good at this time and we still have access to the Internet I’m sure the same thing will be said…If we are barely surviving I hope some remember that it could have been prevented…

  2. Tragedy of the Commons Avatar
    Tragedy of the Commons

I remember a few yrs. back, some bank robbers went into a small
western town and robbed the bank. The town did not have
sufficient police to to stop the robbers. Somebody called NASA
and the car was shut down and the robbers captured.
    Never forgot or forget.

  3. All of this stuff is being pushed to be implemented by when? 2030. Total and complete coincidence, you tinfoil hat wearing nutjobs!

  4. Some irony can be found in that it was those we allowed to implement our will being the ones to have the limitations. Little by little, inch by inch, we gave them access to all the locks. For it is the keys that will always be available and readily given away. Thank goodness we all feel so safe.

  5. Yep. We’re three years away from having to work out an alternate “internet”, aren’t we? Localized mesh networks, connected with unregulated laser comms, and we can overcome and overpower the machine.

I’ve been studying how to do this… it actually takes up quite a bit of my time. I need to organize my thinking and come up with a way that simple folks like us can use existing technology to create an alternate, decentralized internet (think Qortal, IPFS, etc) for sharing information and communicating without having to use RealID.

    1. I can see the need for some homebrew stuff like repeaters and antennas to hit longer distances.

  6. I built a meshtastic node for about $150. Small solar panel recharges the battery.

Many videos on youtube on how to do it.

    Get after it.

  7. Time to make up another TikTok challenge. How many Flock cameras can you tear down in a night? Then move on to stop light and speed cameras and after that any traffic cameras. Make it too expensive to keep up.

  8. As for the kill switch for the internet, it’s already here and been here under the Clintons. they have the kill switches in the cars as well since 2020 even though they claim it began this year for the 2026 and 2027 models coming up. This is the main reason I will never purchase or lease a new car ever again; I am going back to the 1970’s classics with a reworked new engine and new transmission as well as the old analogue gauges and carburetor. Let see if they can shut this off without any computers in the car. since the classis car industry is worth billions of dollars yearly the government won’t mess with this industry because many wealthy people trade and purchase high end cars which are classics in the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars yearly, and if they try passing restrictive laws on classics they will piss off these people and the politicos will be hurt by this big time.

  9. FFS… gold, silver, and trade amongst your fellow. Stop giving everything to those that take and give NOT!
