The disruption at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner last night looks less like a genuine assassination attempt and a lot more like a reminder to the Short Fat Trump that he’s expected to continue ordering the US military to fight Iran, not play diplomatic games and give the Islamic Republic more time to continue restocking its missile supplies.

A lot of observers were expecting things to kick off again this weekend. The “assassination attempt” may be an indication that they’re not going to do so.

    Turns out this fool lives adjacent to my personal AO in the South Bay of Los Angeles… where there is a rather highly radical contingent of leftist-extremists. And you’ll see them posting inflammatory stuff on the local forums (run and moderated by radicals) and showing up like clockwork for highly visible protest–especially against ICE. Torrance where this guy resides is BTW a rather conservative and affluent area.

    Anyone know what the meaning is behind the gesture seen by his left hand? That position is not relaxed and certainly means something to him and some who see the photo.

        The peace sign, shown in the 60s and early 70s during Vietnam, was displayed with the folded fingers and thumb facing the viewer and the fingers pointed upward. This guy has the fingers pointed to the side. I suspect there is a message behind this 2-finger position that connects to something. I’m just curious.

          This is the current street hand sign for “peace”. No secret message involved. I see it all the time. Usually used by non White teens.
