Okay. So this appears to be happening in Oxford. At first it won’t be called a penalty, it will be a fee. Then a tax. Then you will be compelled to LIVE in the city if you want to WORK in the city.
It just keeps getting sicker and sicker with each passing day, as for there 15 minute slum cities they can go P_ _ _ K off and eat S_ _T and die. I will never live in any of those cities and I would rather eat bark off a tree than listen to these demon possessed animal elites.
Funny, innit, how all the work in robotics seems to be centered around manufacturing, and food prep and production?
I used to imagine busses ferrying workers from farm fields to and from the 15-min cities, then I realized that’s not how its going to go.
Honestly at this point, I’m more impressed at people’s ability to supress their natural instincts and follow along with what they’re told. Milgram had it nailed. Most people would load themselves into a woodchipper if the right celebrity or sportsballer told them to.
We need to bring the concept and practices of the UK “Bladerunners” here into the USA. Look them up on Youtube and how they are combatting surveillence systems there in that country.
