Are you kidding me, do you actually believe this is what Christ looks like on the cross than you are not at all observant in your discernment, there is no pictures or idols of christ anywhere on this planet because it’s a grievous sin to have a statute, painting, etc. of our Lord. No one has ever painted christ when he walked the earth and this is men’s interpretation under the guidance of Satan of what our Lord supposedly looked like. If you know your scripture Christ stated it’s a sin for a man to have long hair (1st Corinthians 11), so why is our Lord portrayed with long hair that would contradict the scriptures in its entirety. That said, no one should destroy a statue under any situation even from a false church, such as the catholic church. It is a tragedy that so many Christians see this as an attack on Christianity, when the Bible in Deuteronomy 12:3 says we Christians are to do the very same thing. The Ten Commandments, which used to be taught in schools, tell us that there are to be no graven images (Exodus 20:4). No statues! We are to smash them, just like this soldier is doing. We don’t know what Jesus looked like; the St. Peter statue in Rome is actually Zeus. It is Satan’s biggest joke to get people claiming to be Christians bowing down to statues of other gods with the Lord’s name on them. Christians, if you claim the name know the Bible!
