Language Warning

h/t WRSA

After Obama was elected the first time, I decided to never again vote in a Federal election. Vote for the lesser evil and still get evil; the uni-party. In 2024, I reneged on my pledge and voted for Trump. I was sold on the idea that he would restore the Republic. The short video posted above pretty well describes my position now. No one in DC represents me or us. I should have followed my gut and not voted for him, not that anything would have changed. But learning has occurred. No more voting in Federal elections for this old man. It’s been said that if voting mattered it would be illegal. I guess that’s so.

  1. That about sums it up pretty well, I voted for the B#tch and truly regret it, TINVOWOOT and then some.

    1. 100% accurate

  2. Poetry is expressive in many forms. Very well done. This should bode well for the youngsters. (Not saying we are all old 😉)

  3. George Carlin enlightened me to voting is a scam and meaningless excercise back in 1996. I thought local elections were different but figured out they too are a charade.

Yup. It took me a while, but Carlin’s words ring true. It is a big club, and I am not in it. Bleib ubrig.

  4. After Bush the Elder lied and broke his word, I swore off the mainstream candidates. I did vote for both Buchanan and Paul in primaries, but for general elections, I always wrote in a name, usually Yosemite Sam. I did break this to vote for Trump back in 2016 and 2020. 2024, pistol toting Sam got my vote yet again.

  5. Jesus is knocking…with a sledgehammer…and still the machine holds the attention of most so that the door remains closed. Woe…
