The assimilation farce has worked out like a fart in Church. Cultures are distinct, with the American culture going the way of the dodo. The experience of different cultures makes way for exploratory vacations. Living in, for some the lack of, the mixing bowl being constantly battered relieves the American culture of growth and is detrimental to future descendants.
If assimilation worked we wouldn’t have hyphenated Americans.

This needs to be the standard in every state and a federal
Law every state must abide by.
Wonder how this is going to work in Miami?
Last time I went there was back in the late 70’s.
I stopped by a gas station and they didn’t speak any English at all.
So I highly doubt anything has changed since then unless the Florida government is going to seize that city and force compliance.
